Is running on the treadmill a great way to lose weight?
January 7th, 2009 |My goal is losing 15lbs and I'm not sure on how to lose weight by exercising, but I know how to eat right.
Just confused on workout routines.
Seriously though, the answer is yes, though I prefer the outdoors. Treadmills suck.

for a month

1) I would first warm up with 4.0 for the first 5 minutes.
2) I would then run at 7.0 until 20 minutes.
3) Incline at 15 with speed of 4.2 until 30 minutes have passed.
I would repeat this process for the next 30 minutes. I had a rule of atleast 4 miles and got up to 13 miles in 2 hours one time. There was a month i did the treadmill everyday! I know thats not ideal for you body because it needs rest but i did it anyways. Also good for you is the elliptical machine. There is one thing you should know though. NEVER and i mean NEVER eat before you sleep; otherwise this workout is a complete waste my friend.
