• hi there,

    through (for example) my videos > workgroup (smb) network my xbox find the workgroup just fine, and the name of my pc. but when i try to open my pc to reach my shared files (yeah they are shared) i get an error pop up that is named "error" and the word "success" (oh the irony) and a simple "ok" box.

    this is as far as i get, i've tried to search, read and do everything in my power to find a answer for this but no luck.

    i can ping and ftp my xbox, it works like a charm.

    what am i doing wrong?

  • i have just put the latest build on from one of the torrent sites, not sure what the date is but it works fine now, pm me if you want to know where from


  • yep same thing since i got the latest version last week, what version are you running?


  • i started out with a build from 13-12-2005 and last night i tried to upgrade to the build from 05-01-2006.

    exactly the same thing happend for me in both versions
