E-commerce database and Web resource company eWonders.com launched a store search and merchant rating application for wireless users of Palm VII and WAP enabled mobile phones.

The company said Palm VII users need to download a small file from ratingwonders.com and sync their unit. WAP enabled mobile phone users simply dial the name of the Web site.

The technology allows users to search for online stores selling a particular product, and provides objective ratings from ratingwonders.com and consumer ratings.

A brief profile of each store is displayed that includes on their customer service toll-free number and shipping and return policy.

Real time price comparison for a particular product from qualifying online merchants are made available to wireless shoppers from another eWonders Web site, pricewonders.com.

eWonders.com encourages consumers to rate online merchants and post their own online merchant and product reviews.
