• I know it will hurt no matter where i get it lol, but i also know that some places hurt worse than others. So where is the MOST painful and the LEAST painful?
    thnx=]

  • You want to focus on the meaty spots of your body. Your arms, your legs, your butt.

Do the pinch test. First pinch a boney spot that doesn't have much fat (like the top of your foot or your ribs), then pinch a meatier spot (like your upper arm or your thigh). You will see the difference.

  • from combined personal experience and what other people have told me,
the most painful: ribs, foot, elbow
least painful: back of shoulder (mine there felt like being drawn in with a pen) and the calf

but everyone's different, this is from people i know with tats, you may be more sensitive in other places.

  • If you are that worried about pain, don't get a tattoo. Seriously, you shouldn't let it affect your decision - get the tattoo where you want it.
Generally fleshy parts hurt the least, and bony parts the most.

  • no where, everwhere hurts, sorry babe lol...

  • worst is on the rib cage.

  • Most painful - my eyelids (eye liner). Least painful, well, they all kinda burn/hurt, but it's not really that bad.

  • More fat and nerves it will hurt more.

  • Avoid "boney" places of the body: i.e. the ankle, the neck, the hand (and yes the lower back!). These places have less fat on them and when the tattoo'ist put the needle down you can just kinda FEEL it more.
I have 2 tattoos, one on my lower back the other on the back of my neck. The lower back wasn't bad, i pre-occupied myself with a gameboy. It really helped!
The back of the neck hurt a bit more, plus I did not have anything to do except stare at the floor
    lol

  • the leg is the least
    the foot is the worst

  • Ankles are the most painful.
Bicep/Tricep area hurts, but not as much as other places.

  • For me:

    most painful: ribs
least painful: back of my neck

it is different for everyone though, areas with less fat tend to hurt more though, if you're worried about the pain too much you shouldn't be getting a tattoo.

  • Probably Las Vegas. After a couple of days you will be so sleep deprived that you might not even feel it at all. LOL

  • The more fat the less it hurts.

  • either way.. that thing your getting on your body, will be there foreverr..
think of it as.. what parts of your body are touched most.. place that arent touched often.. are going to hurt more.

  • On someone else's body!

Tattoos are painful & permanent. And they really do not look very good on old people ~ consider your future. There are many tattooed adults who would not have made the same choices if they could undo the past!

Neck, head and center belly are generally considered the most painful areas.

  • genitals are the least painful.
the most painful is the shoulder blade.

  • Least: The elbow
    Most: Everywhere else

  • Lower back hurts like hell. Shoulder & lower abdomen did not hurt.

  • It all depends on the person, the time of day, time of month and generally just how your feeling when you get it.
I have a 15 hours of work done on my back so far and every time has felt different. The first time my ribs were done it hurt like hell, then the next time, i couldnt feel it.
Every time i get my spine done its so painfully i almost cant cant stand it.
Usually, if its a ticklish spot, its gunna hurt alot there, thats what i have been told.

  • If you are worried about the pain, don't get one.

  • well, let me just say that when considering tattoo placement you really should consider where it'll look good, age well, and in a spot youre comfortable with [whether visible or not]...because the pain is only temporary, you'll have the tattoo forever so its worth a little more pain for something placed perfectly.

with that said, typically the fleshier an area, the less it hurts. I've heard the least painful are your upper arm, parts of your leg depending how muscular your legs are and where your sensitive... your butt probably lol. I have a tattoo on the inside of my wrist, some people say it hurts a lot but it really didnt hurt too bad. I also got my lower back done, which ive also heard mixed responses on, and that didnt hurt either. and i barely have any fat at all where i got it. I think my lower back hurt less, it was just a weirder sensation and it made different parts of my body feel weird at points cause of all the nerves. but it really wasnt bad.

places like your chest, hands, feet, ankle, ribs, are more likely to hurt a lot because there typically no meat and sometimes thinner more sensitive skin
