Do any universities in Australia offer online facebooks for their students? By a facebook I mean do they offer some way for only students to login, create/modify their profile, and view other fellow students' information? I would like to do automated daily backups at 4 AM or so on my Linux server. How can this be done? I have a digital animation and I must convert it to video (reocording it with a Beta SP tape), in order to submit it to a movie festival. The animation was created with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. It was created as a mixed sort of old-style-but-digital process, with every frame designed by hand (i.e., flat and 2-D designs only), then scanned, colorized with Illustrator and Photoshop and grouped with Flash - there is also a version in which the frames were aligned using Adobe Premiere. That means the animation was not created using vetorial tools - which would mean that the original resolution didn't matter when outputting it to video, since I would be able to enlarge it without any quality loss. My husband just got into an accident and we're pretty sure our car is totalled. So if the insurance pays the fair market value of it do they then take it even if my loan won't be paid off. I just finished touching up my pictures from Italy. When I was browsing through the finished photos and comparing them to the originals, I noticed that all of the edited ones seemed to have richer red tones. I went back into photoshop elements and opened up one of the original JPGs, made no changes and saved as another file. When I opened the new one it too had richer reds than the original even though I made no changes. Below is an example (I'm hoping what I'm talking about shows up). Does anyone know what's causing this? All pictures were originally RAW files, I made EV adjustments in the RAW conversion tool and saved as JPGs. I then finished editing the JPG in Elements. For some reason, the hall the reception was at was dark, except for lights that shined on the wall. Well half the place was like this. The other half was lit normal. I used this to my advantage and came up with these shots... BTW, I wanted the yellowish light. I did this by setting the white balance to flash, but obviously not using one. I have a digital animation and I must convert it to video (reocording it with a Beta SP tape), in order to submit it to a movie festival. The animation was created with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. It was created as a mixed sort of old-style-but-digital process, with every frame designed by hand (i.e., flat and 2-D designs only), then scanned, colorized with Illustrator and Photoshop and grouped with Flash - there is also a version in which the frames were aligned using Adobe Premiere. I intend on studying Russian and possibly spending some time in Russia to improve my skills and knowledge, and experience the culture. The problem is, I've heard reports of violence towards foreign students and tourists, especially in major cities. Is this something I should worry about? I just finished touching up my pictures from Italy. When I was browsing through the finished photos and comparing them to the originals, I noticed that all of the edited ones seemed to have richer red tones. I went back into photoshop elements and opened up one of the original JPGs, made no changes and saved as another file. When I opened the new one it too had richer reds than the original even though I made no changes. Below is an example (I'm hoping what I'm talking about shows up). Does anyone know what's causing this? All pictures were originally RAW files, I made EV adjustments in the RAW conversion tool and saved as JPGs. I then finished editing the JPG in Elements. I used this to my advantage and came up with these shots... BTW, I wanted the yellowish light. I did this by setting the white balance to flash, but obviously not using one. However, I've notice that when I turn the camera sideways to take a photo I end up with a shadow down one side of the picture.
